Terms & refunds

These terms cover coaching bought from ALright Coaching. By paying ALright's PayPal request you agree to them. They sit alongside any rights you have under the consumer law where you live, and nothing here takes those rights away.

ALright Coaching is run by Kim Ju-hwan ("ALright"), an individual coach based in South Korea. Questions about these terms go in a ticket in the Discord server.

What you're buying

Coaching sessions and reviews exactly as described on the package you picked: the length, the format and what you get afterwards. Coaching means teaching. ALright never logs into your account, never plays on it, and doesn't sell rank boosts.

No guaranteed results. Coaching helps you improve, but how much your rank or results change depends on your own practice and games. Nobody can promise you a rank, a win or a place on a team, and we don't.

Payment

• Payment is upfront. ALright sends a PayPal payment request in your ticket, and your session or review is booked once it's paid.
• Prefer to split it? Pay 50% when you book and the other 50% after the session, or once your VOD review notes arrive. For plans and team months, ALright will agree the timing of the second half with you in your ticket.
• Payments go through PayPal only.

Rescheduling

• Move a session for free with at least one day's notice, in your ticket.
• If you miss a session, tell ALright in your ticket and he'll try to find you a new time.

Refunds

• If ALright misses a session or can't deliver it, you get a full refund for that session.
• Before a session or review has started, you can cancel for a full refund.
• Plans and bundles: unused sessions are refunded pro-rata. Sessions in a plan expire 60 days after purchase.
• VOD reviews can be refunded until ALright starts watching your game.

Ask for a refund in your ticket. Refunds go back to the way you paid, usually within 5 to 10 working days.

If you're in the EU or UK, you have 14 days after buying to cancel. If you ask for a session or review to happen inside those 14 days, you agree that it can start early. Once a session has been fully delivered, that cancellation right ends for it. If you cancel partway through, you pay only for what's already been delivered.

Players under 18

Players under 18 are welcome with a parent or guardian's permission. The parent or guardian must pay and agree to these terms first. Sessions with under-18 players happen only in the server's channels, never in private messages.

Recordings

Sessions are recorded only if everyone on the call agrees. Recordings go only to you, or to your guardian if you're under 18, and are deleted after 30 days. Your games are never posted publicly without your written permission.

Discord and PayPal

Booking happens in Discord and payment through PayPal, so their own terms apply when you use them. Follow the server's code of conduct while you're there.

Liability

ALright Coaching will deliver what you paid for with reasonable care and skill. If something goes wrong, the most it can be liable for is what you paid for the session or package in question. This doesn't limit any liability the law doesn't allow to be limited.

ALright Coaching is independent. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment. Overwatch is a trademark of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live, and you can bring a claim there.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The version on this page when you pay is the one that applies to that purchase.
