VOD reviews from $15 · live 1-on-1s $30 · 4-week plan $119 · booked in Discord

ALright is Kim Ju-hwan, a Korean tank player who mains Winston, Wrecking Ball and D.Mon. He reached #43 in the Tank Top 500 on the Asia ladder in Overwatch 2 Season 7 (2023), and was head coach of I LOVE YOU for two OWCS 2025 Pacific stages. Tank is his specialty, because it's what he plays. He coaches tank players at any rank, from Bronze through Emerald to Champion, in English or Korean.

How he coaches tank players

“Most people treat Overwatch as a shooting game and only practice their aim. You have to think about the composition and the team play too. That's what I teach.”

ALright

He builds a solid foundation first, then guides you toward the style you want to play. Every session follows three steps:

  • Tell him what's wrong. Your usual problems, what you think is going wrong, and where you want to take your play.
  • Watch it together. You go through your replay and find the real issues.
  • Leave with a plan. Fixes for what you found, and a direction for what comes next. Summary notes after every session.

What your notes look like

The moments from your replay that decided the fights, and what to work on next.

An example of the format, written for this page. Your notes are about your own games.

  1. You walk past the choke before your Kiriko has Suzu back. Wait for it, then take the space.

  2. Shield up for the Ana sleep, but you keep walking forward. Hold the angle until she's spent it.

  3. Second fight: their Zarya has 90% charge and you still commit. Track it. This is the fight you lost the map on.

  4. Good: you swapped targets to the flanking Tracer and saved your support. Do this on purpose, not only when she hits you.

To do
  1. 10 games: count Suzu before you walk past a choke.
  2. Custom game: hold shield on an off-angle until the sleep is gone.
  3. Track enemy Zarya charge out loud for one session.

Questions tank players ask

Which ranks do you coach? Any rank, from Bronze through Emerald to Champion, and any role. Tank is his specialty, because it's what he plays. The one player he turns down is someone who wants to win without putting in the work.

Will coaching get me a higher rank? No coach can promise a rank, and ALright doesn't. What he promises is the process: he watches your games, finds what's really going wrong, and leaves you with fixes and a direction for what comes next.

Do you log into my account? Never. This is coaching, not boosting. ALright never asks for your login and never plays on your account.
