What happens in an Overwatch VOD review
ALright Coaching · · 4 min read

A VOD review is coaching without a call. You send one of your games, a coach watches all of it, and you get written notes on what to fix. It's the cheapest way to find out what is really losing you fights. Here is how it works at ALright Coaching, step by step.
What you send
Open a ticket in the Discord server and send a replay code within 48 hours of the match. Game patches can wipe replay codes, so a screen recording works too. If you're not sure where to find the code, follow how to find and share an Overwatch replay code.
With the code, tell ALright two things: what you think went wrong, and what you want to fix. That gives him your side of the game before he watches it.
What he looks for
ALright watches the full game and looks for the real issues, which are not always the ones you noticed. His view of the game shapes what he looks for:
“Most people treat Overwatch as a shooting game and only practice their aim. You have to think about the composition and the team play too. That's what I teach.”
ALright
So the notes rarely say "aim better". They point at the moments that decided the fights: when you walked in before your support's cooldown was back, an enemy ultimate you didn't track, or the target you chose. He builds a solid foundation first, then helps you toward the style you want to play.
What your notes look like
Notes are timestamped to your replay, so you can jump straight to each moment. They end with a short to-do list of things to practice. This example shows the format; your notes are about your own game.
